We are situated in a tiny hamlet on an elevated site above a little valley close to the 13th century village of Grand Brassac, so this is a great location for a holiday with your family and friends or a romantic retreat.
Whether you’re interested in castles, prehistoric remains, wild orchids, butterflies, local crafts or just good food and wine, this is a region which will enrich and stimulate your senses...and not forgetting that children may have other interests there are many leisure and fun activities for them. A wide variety of water sports on local lakes and rivers, from the sandy beach at La Jemaye to canoeing and boat trips on the rivers Dronne, Lisle and Dordogne offer excitement and breathtaking views.
At Le Guichard we aim to be ecologically friendly. Where practical we use only low energy light bulbs, eco-friendly products and recycle. In 2008 we planted a range of trees and shrubs to help minimise our carbon footprint. We will develop this further to ensure our sites offer a more eco-friendly holiday.

The nicest house we have ever had whilst holidaying in France, beautiful scenery and peace. So close to Sarlat, Perigueux, Riberac, the list is endless. Grand Etang La Jemaye is breathtaking and the water is always warm.
